Collection 2 - “Leopardwood Tree”

The "Leopardwood Tree" surface pattern collection draws inspiration from the distinctive Leopardwood tree that thrives in Western New South Wales. This tree's unique bark and organic textures serve as the foundation for the collection's intricate patterns, reflecting the tree’s striking natural beauty and the rugged landscape it inhabits. The Leopardwood's detailed bark patterns are transformed into repeating geometric designs that blend the organic with the structured, creating a visual language that honours both the tree's natural form and the landscape's vastness. Through these designs, I aim to celebrate the beauty of rural Australia, its flora, and the enduring connection between the land and those who live on it.
