Pip Stalley-Batten

Interior Designer

Hello, I’m Pip Stalley and I am the Interior Designer and Co-Director of Elements Interiors and Construction.  It is an understatement to say that I’m passionate about good design. Design impacts every part of our lives, everything we use on a daily basis has been designed. A well designed home will change the way you live. Daily workflow, routine and systems that are intuitive, not only function well, but look resolved and beautiful.

My values align well with country people, in particular farmers who live in homesteads passed through the generations. There is great satisfaction for me in designing homes that are truly valued for a generation and beyond.

I grew up on a sheep station out of Bourke. I understand the practicalities of life in Regional NSW. I consider that I am a very down to earth Interior Designer, I believe that function and style should be authentic to person and place.

Together we will work through the design process from concept to detailed construction documentation. Throughout this process we form relationships based on honesty and integrity.  I understand that a renovation is a big investment of emotion and finances and we need to get it right.

In 2022, we launched our showroom with the goal of creating a regional design hub offering full service interior design, sourcing, soft furnishings and upholstery. The showroom also has gallery space and an on-site Building Designer.

In my leisure time, I enjoy drawing and painting, spending time with my family and heading out to Bourke. I find so much inspiration from time on the family sheep station, my soul place.

Builder

Hello, I’m Damian, the Builder and Co-Director of Elements Interiors and Construction. I have a passion for fine craftsmanship and producing a quality finish. My team and I take pride in producing the best finish, this may not be the easiest option and it may take a little longer. We are proud of the work we produce. Our approach is to work with Pip to define the details of the designs, brief and implement the plans and schedules. We bring life to your projects design.

I am local to the area, moving to Dubbo from Collie. I completed an Apprenticeship with Dubbo Terrazzo, mainly working on large scale commercial projects. I hold a Certificate IV and was awarded my Builder’s Licence in 2003.

While completing my Builder’s Licence, I focused on residential construction with a custom builder in Young. I have experience working on architecturally designed projects with features such as exposed timber cut roofs, dormer windows, mezzanine floors and exposed timber stairs.

I have a Project Management background, previously managing public works project and the NSW Public Housing Program for Western NSW before starting our building company.

I enjoy problem solving and I’ll tell you nothing can’t be achieved with a bit of thought and patience. In my leisure time I ride motorbikes, enjoy heading out to Bourke and time with my family.
